Chinese leather chest from the Republic Period richly finished in deep oxblood red with a hand-rubbed patina. Detailed with an aged brass clasp and side handles. A faded maker’s label remains affixed to the interior. Perfect for storing keepsakes or as an understated accent atop a console or low table.
Measures 11" T x 22" W x 14" D.
In beautiful antique condition. The surface bears traces of time—small scuffs, worn edges, and and chips that reveal layers of age beneath the lacquer.
