Pair of Hans J. Wegner Wishbone Oak Armchairs
Pair of Hans J. Wegner CH24 Wishbone Chairs in oak with woven paper cord seats. Designed in 1949, the Wishbone Chair is distinguished by its sculptural Y-shaped back, curved top rail, graceful arms, and handwoven seat. A defining work of Danish modern design.
Overall height measures 29", width measures 22", depth measures 20.5". Seat height measures 17".
Sold as a pair. In excellent vintage condition. One chair has a split in the wood back of the chair rest. Staining present on seat chairs, as documented in photos, is commensurate with wear and use.
