Oaxacan bird figure, hand-formed in earthenware and painted in layered bands of terracotta red and warm cream. Fine linear striping articulates the wings, breast, and crown. Delicate motifs at the neck and face. Raised on four sturdy legs with small beak and elongated tail. A coin slot rests along the back.
Measures 7.25” tall x 11” at widest point.
Surface variation, light wear, and subtle pigment irregularities are consistent with age and handcraft.
