A playful, sculptural Oaxacan bird figure, hand-formed in earthenware and painted in rhythmic bands of terracotta red and warm cream. Linear striping wraps the rounded body, wings, and head, creating movement across its surface.
Raised on four small legs with a tapered beak and coin slot at the back, the form functions as a traditional piggy bank while retaining a strong decorative presence.
Measures 8.5” H x 6” W at widest point.
Surface shows light wear and minor irregularities consistent with age and handcraft.
