Three Fir Trees etching with aquatint by Japanese artist Keiko Minami (1911-2004), depicting three slender fir trees and a solitary bird beneath an open sky.
Known for her pared-back compositions, Minami developed a distinctive visual language through etching and aquatint. She began working with the medium after moving to Paris in the early 1950s, where she studied with printmaker Johnny Friedlaender.
Signed and numbered 33/50 in pencil. Presented in delicate gilt wood frame.
Measures 15.5" H x 12.5" W.
In excellent vintage condition. Wear is consistent with age and use.
