Inspired by the wild richness of clay, Sarah Kersten’s ceramics are a sublime translation of nature, reflected in each handmade piece from our newest collaboration. After receiving an unusual variation of iron-flecked clay, Kersten unearthed a material marked by the raw beauty of earth. While the reasons for the extra iron are unclear, it created a unique, impossible-to-replicate finish. One revealed by nature.
