A beautiful, rustic Georgian blanket chest, circa 1750, with three recessed panels and framed with molded edges. Raised on stile feet with original pierced brass lock plate and traditional iron strap hinges, the chest opens to a large interior storage area for blankets, bedding, pillows, clothing, and more.
Measures 26" H x 45" W x 21" D.
In beautiful antique condition. Significant chipping, cracks, scratching, and hallmarks of time all commensurate with age and use. We make every effort to photograph any visible wear, which only adds to an item's rich character.
