Now, in her first book, Design by Nature: Creating Layered, Lived-in Spaces Inspired by The Natural World, Erica teaches you how to train your eye to the beauty of the natural world, and then bring the outdoors in—incorporating patterns and motifs from nature, as well as actual organic elements, into simple ideas for everyday decorating and design.
Design by Nature contains new and imaginative decorating ideas for an organic and bohemian style that mixes and layers rugs, pillows, throws, and drapery, and incorporates unique patterns and fabrics such as shibori, ikat, and jamdani, all stunningly photographed by renowned photographer Ngoc Minh Ngo.

The Lola Silk Slip dress is Erica Tanov’s first silk slip dress design and has been an essential for leading ladies since it debuted at Barneys in the early 1990’s – from Madonna to Julianne Moore & SJP, the Lola has graced both cinema screens and prima ballerinas.

Our most accessible, versatile slip, the Greta is intended for endless wearability. With a simple bias-cut silhouette and delicate french lace trimming at the hem, Greta endures as an elevated everyday essential - poised as a piece we come back to for all occasions.

Our Petal Silk is a lightweight fabric that travels with you easily; just twist in a ball, pack into your luggage, and gently shake out to wear straight away. A timeless and quality silk, it can be hand washed and line dried and, with care, passed down for generations to come.
